418 Media Inc. ("we", "us", or "our") built the ServeProof app as a productivity tool for legal professionals. This Privacy Policy explains how ServeProof handles your information.

Our Core Principle

Your data stays on your device. ServeProof is designed as an offline-first application. We do not operate servers that collect, store, or process your data. All information you enter into ServeProof remains exclusively on your iPhone or iPad.

Information the App Accesses

ServeProof requests access to the following device capabilities to provide its core functionality:

• GPS / Location Services — Used to record evidence-grade GPS coordinates when you document service of process. Location data is stored locally on your device and embedded in generated PDF affidavits. Your location is never transmitted to us or any third party.
• Camera — Used to capture photographic evidence at the time of service. Photos are stored locally on your device and embedded in generated PDF affidavits. Photos are never transmitted to us or any third party.
• Photo Library — Used as a fallback to attach existing photos as evidence when the camera is unavailable. Selected photos are stored locally within the app's data. Photos are never transmitted to us or any third party.
• Face ID / Touch ID — Used to secure access to the app and protect sensitive legal information. Biometric data is handled entirely by the iOS operating system and is never accessible to ServeProof or 418 Media Inc.

Information We Collect

None. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any of the data you enter into ServeProof, including:

• Case numbers, names, or addresses
• GPS coordinates or location history
• Photos or evidence documents
• Generated PDF affidavits
• Usage analytics or behavior data

Third-Party Services

ServeProof does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or data collection services. The app makes no network requests. There are no SDKs, trackers, or external dependencies that transmit data off your device.

Data Storage and Retention

All app data is stored locally on your device using Apple's built-in data storage frameworks. Your data persists until you choose to delete it within the app, delete the app itself, or erase your device. We have no ability to access, recover, or delete your data remotely.

Data Sharing

ServeProof does not share your data with anyone. When you use the "Share PDF" feature, you are initiating a share action through the iOS share sheet, and you control who receives the document. We are not involved in that transmission.

Children's Privacy

ServeProof is a professional tool designed for legal professionals and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, we will post the revised version on this page with an updated effective date. Since we do not collect your contact information, we recommend checking this page periodically.
